  1. Q: Is a trunnion mount available for the flood light?
    A: Not at this time. Contact the factory if you need a trunnion mount.

  2. Q: Is it possible to field install a full-size twist lock PE into the flood luminaire?
    A: It would require drilling a very large hole in the luminaire to accommodate the PE receptacle, and therefore it is not recommended.

  3. Q: Is it possible to field install a button PE?
    A: It is recommended that luminaires requiring PE be ordered as such from the factory.

  4. Q: What accessory visors are available?
    A: GELS is developing a line of accessories. Please consult factory for specific needs.

  5. Q: Can switched quartz be field installed?
    A: Yes, it is possible to easily field install switched quartz into 400W and 1000W luminaires.

  6. Q: Where is the integral wiring box for the Criterion flood light?
    A: It is concealed in the slipfitter.

  7. Q: Is the Flood luminaire access door easily removable?
    A: Yes, it is a simple process. Please see the instruction sheet for details.

  8. Q: Will the area luminaire accept full-size or reduced envelope (compact) lamps?
    A: All criterion luminaires are designed to accept reduced envelope lamps.

  9. Q: Is the starter aid/ignitor easily replaceable?
    A: Yes, the housing features tool-less entry and the starter aid (ignitor) replacement is a one step EZAddTM replaceable component.

  10. Q: Will any of the flood luminaires accept a full sized lamp?
    A: The 1000W NEMA 7X7 will accept an ED37 envelope lamp. All others require compact lamps.
